John Scalzi presented this video for Wil Wheaton. Wil’s response is below.

His blog post is adorable. This is how I’d be if I ever met Robert Plant. (Assuming of course that I could speak in the first place.)
I was on Twitter this morning and saw Amanda Palmer tweeting about a show she did in Manchester. Here is her PSA on concert attendance – “PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT TO EVERYBODY ATTENDING MARATHON ROCK & ROLL SHOWS: DO NOT FORGET TO EAT & HYDRATE. OR YOU MIGHT FAINT. THE END“.
This got me thinking about how much I enjoyed her appearance in the book trailer for “Let’s Pretend This Never Happened” by Jenny Lawson / The Bloggess. I then realized that I never posted this video here. That of course, is because at the time, I was lucky if I put up one post a month.
Ladies and gentlemen – enjoy.
On Wednesday of this past week, Wil Wheaton posted a link on twitter –
That link led to this.
My first thought was that I had to do something Bloggess related. This is what I submitted then –
For those that don’t know, Wil has been a most excellent person to Jenny Lawson.
About an hour after posting the link to the coloring page, and after retweeting several creations that had been submitted, Wil posted a link to a new Pinterest Board – Wesley Crusher, evolved. It is excellent and filled with all kinds of silliness.
I’m not sure why but yesterday I had a mini epiphany and an idea for an evolved Crusher popped into my head. I’m very pleased with the result.
The Curiosity Rover landed on Mars overnight. Totally successful mission. It has its own Twitter account so you can follow it on its travels – @MarsCuriosity .
Wil Wheaton (@wilw), who is excellent in just about every way a celebrity can be, narrated a video about Curiosity for NASA / JPL.
One of Curiosity’s first tweets last night after landing? It must have been channeling Wil.
