OWH Midweek Throwdown – Cards for Kids #3

Standard

The midweek throwdown this week at Operation Write Home is to make Cards for Kids. I just found some super cute animal stamp sets on clearance at Michaels so decided to stamp a bunch of images and color them in.

Here’s my second critter –

Wausau Fleck cardstock. Pattern papers are from DCWV The Paper Stack. Lion is from a Recollections set, colored with Crayola True to Life pencils. Sentiment is Studio G Lynette Anderson Taylor in Memento Tuxedo Black. Scalloped Square Shapeabilities Dies. Pick Your Plum Bakers Twine. Distress Inks Wild Honey.

Seeing the card here has let me know my sun is streaky – that has been corrected with swabbed baby oil. See my previous post for a video.

I used the handy dandy colored pencil tips from Sandy Allnock – baby oil will help to even out the blotchiness that results from colored pencils.
