Love You So Rainbow

This is the second card that I’ve made using my custom created Love You So Silhouette sentiment. This is tied into this week’s Shopping Our Stash challenge – Embossing times 2.

Xerox Flecs Cover, Silhouette Custom design, American Arts Pigment Ink in Rouge, Apricot, Sunflower, Pine, Powder and Grape. Hampton Arts Clear Embossing Powder.

*Make sure you clean off any repositional adhesive from the design before adding the embossing powder & applying heat. Ask me how I know. *sigh*

Love You So

I’m totally enamored with my Silhouette Cameo at the moment. I decided to create my own love sentiment to use to make cards and larger pieces of art. This is my first use of it –

The Our Daily Bread Designs October Challenge at Operation Write Home is Sentiments. I think this qualifies as a card where the sentiment is the true focal point.

Xerox Flecs Cover, Silhouette Custom design, Distress Inks in Peeled Paint and Tumbled Glass.

Hi There

Today’s card makes use of the second Hi There Arrow that I cut when I first got my Silhouette.

Xerox Flecs, background is DCWV Tattered Time, sentiment is Fancy Pants design Hello / Hi Talk Bubble Set in ANW Night Sky. Brads are Recollections.

A Coral Thank You

Today’s card uses another sentiment that was made with my Silhouette Cameo. It’s a super CAS card.

Xerox Flecs, 7 Gypsies Coral, Pick Your Plum Washi. I adhered the sentiment with a bit of tape runner and then covered the whole thing with a very light decoupage coating, to make sure that the skinny bits would stay in place.

OWH Masculine Card Midweek Throwdown

The Midweek throwdown this week at Operation Write Home is Masculine.

I decided to cut some new designs from my Silhouette – the “love you more” frame makes for a very CAS card and can be made for any gender simply based on colors used. I went for a Kraft background and a Chocolate sentiment.

Graphics 45 Kraft Reflections Collection Straight to the Point (the back of the paper), Core’dinations brown paper pack. Silhoutte sentiment.

Moxie Fab Birthday Sketch Challenge with a Lego Card

I love when things come together harmoniously.

Moxie Fab World is currently celebrating the release of Birthday Creations, Volume 3. The first challenge posted was a Birthday Sketch Challenge with a twist – the card had to be all stamping or no stamping at all.

This is the sketch –

Which I turned cattywampus.

In a moment of great timing, Operation Write Home put up a Lego Card Tutorial from Handmade by Julie.

My card is a version of the sketch in Lego style.

Xerox Flecs Base. Papers are all from Colorbok. Sentiment and studs are from Silhouette. Distress Inks in Barn Door, Peeled Paint, Faded Jeans, Wild Honey and Rusty Hinge. Gelly Roll Pen. The Precious (3M dimensional adhesive).

When I make another one, I’ll minimize the sentiment a bit more to allow for better spacing. A very cool looking card though.

Another Silhouette Cameo card

This is another card using my spiffy new Silhouette Cameo.

It’s a perfect addition to the Operation Write Home Midweek Throwdown this week – Clean and Simple.

Xerox Flecs Cover, Black is no ID, Grey is ANW Night Sky, DP is Recollections Black and White. Sizzix Tag die. Fancy Pants design Hello / Hi Talk Bubble Set. The Precious. Pick Your Plum Baker’s Twine.
