Scrappy Banners

I’ve been playing with the different Storytime Papers so much that I have various bits and pieces at my paper cutter. I used some to make banners for today’s card.

Robert Plant – lullaby and The Ceaseless Roar

This is post number 1,000 on this blog. I felt the need to give it to one of my favorite singers.

Robert Plant has gotten together with the Sensational Space Shifters again and has recorded a new album – “lullaby and… The Ceaseless Roar”.

A trailer was released –

And then a short film – ‘Returning to the Borders: A Short Film’

The first single is Rainbow –

Le sigh…..

An OWH MoxieFab Combination Challenge

Today’s card is a combination of challenges. First, Sandy Allnock at Operation Write Home received a lovely scarf from a contact and created a Scarf Case challenge. Second, Moxie Fab World is running a Wonderful Words Challenge – use a word die.

I used the Lawn Fawn Scripty Thanks die in conjunction with pink and yellow Pick Your Plum Baker’s Twine.

GP White, Recollections Black, Xerox Flecs Cover, Pick Your Plum Twine, Lawn Fawn Scripty Thanks. The Precious.

SOS Challenge #160 – Can’t Put it Down

The challenge at Shopping Our Stash this week is perfect for me. #160 is Can’t Put it Down (or away). I’ve been alternating between making cards using the Tim Holtz 12 Months of Tags June technique or using my new Scripty Thanks die from Lawn Fawn.

Today’s card uses the reverse stenciling technique by Mr. Holtz.

I love that this ends up like you’re in a forest, looking up at the trees.

GP white, Bazzill Brown. Tim Holtz Rays Stencil. Distress Inks in Vintage Photo and Mowed Lawn.
