The midweek throwdown on Operation Write Home this week is to make a thinking of you card.
Here’s my first card –
White cardstock base, large scallop tag Sizzix die, patterned paper from DCWV Christmas pack, flecked carstock from Wausau, sentiment stamped in black from TPC Studio Whimsy Greetings set, embroidery floss.
On Thursday, I made a second card for submission into the Moxie Fab World Card Making Week Festivities – Make a Hello or Thinking of You.
White cardstock base, black organdy ribbon, Jolees flower embellishments, DCWV Silky Smooth in purple, grey and white accents from DCWV Matstack Neutrals pad. I love this stuff – textured and adhesive. I found three packs at closeout pricing and shall covet them…
This is a another chapter in Kara uses a pack of 6×6 paper to make cards. These cards are for Operation Write Home as they have a huge need for Love you, Miss you and Thank You cards. Here’s the first post in this series, the second one and the third. My count to this point is 28. The pack of paper is Making Memories Boho Chic Olivia.
This is only a pair of cards, but they were inspired by the Tree Fold Tutorial from yesterday. As I made my trees, I thought they looked like flowers when they were upside down. I decided to try to cut smaller circles to see how they’d come out.
The paper is one sided so I colored in the white part with Prang markers. Once again, after I made it, I realized that I should have layered the flower bit to make it pop.
This is the second one I made. I knew I’d have to layer it and the green paper from this pad worked best. The white was colored with pencil in a soft pink.
For these, I used white cardstock for the base. The stems are from Jolees. The sentiment is from TPC Studio Whimsy Greetings
These put me up to 30.
