Operation Write Home is having a Virtual Card making Party this weekend.
Challenge 8 is hosted by Indiana Inking – Washi Tape.
Here’s my submission.

Let me be honest here – I have no washi tape. I’m compulsively crafty and really don’t want to start buying it because I know I won’t be able to stop. I have seen examples of people using regular paper in place of it though so that’s what I did.
Wausau Fleck Cardstock. Black paper from stash. Pattern papers from Recollections, cut in varying widths and then torn on the end. Voila a Washi look. Thanks is from Doodlebug set in Memento Tuxedo Black.
Love your card and great substitution with the paper. You made it look so realistic with the torn ends. I love the black and white with flecks.
I love black and white cards! They always look so elegant! Thanks for participating in my washi tape challenge!
Oooh, me likey! Well played!!! And I commend you for your strength in not purchasing washi. You’ve seen what happened in my world. You are so smart.
